Tom Peters is constantly writing about the Professional Service Firm (PSF). The “PSF” is Everything! is one of the latest manifestos he’s published on ChangeThis.

I finally sat down and read this last week. As always, Tom’s passion comes through in his writing although he’s very difficult to read. Tom’s writing is full of exclamations, sentence fragments and lists. This won’t really matter if you’re a fan of his work. Reading this made me feel like I was listening to a speaker instead of reading a paper.

Tom starts out describing how the world of work has changed today. He then brings up some examples of PSFs ranging from InfoSys to Cirque Du Soleil. The next section explains 33 marks of excellence found in a PSF and provides a scorecard for you to see how you stack up. He finishes up with a discussion on brands and Lovemarks.
